Amare Aesthetics now offers virtual dermatology care for patients across California and skincare coaching nationwide. Services include treatment of acne, melasma, rosacea, eczema, and more, with quick turnarounds on treatment plans, e-prescriptions, and three flexible service tiers starting at $25.
There's a version of skin care that most people never get to experience! One where you're not rushed through, not handed a generic prescription on the way out the door, and not left googling what to do next. Clinician-led, personalized, and built around your actual life.
That's what we've always aimed to create at Amare Aesthetics. And with the launch of our virtual care services, we're taking that vision a step further...bringing it directly to you, wherever you are.
This expansion has been in the making for sometime, and it means a great deal to me personally. I enrolled in a dermatology fellowship, a decision that reflects exactly the kind of clinician I want to be: one who never stops learning, never stops refining, and always brings the most current, evidence-based thinking to every patient I see. The fellowship has deepened my understanding of complex skin conditions in ways that directly shape how I approach care and I'm beyond excited to bring that depth into our virtual consultations.
Whether you're in California or across the country, there's a way for us to work together. Let's walk through everything you need to know.
The Conditions We Treat Virtually at Amare Aesthetics
Virtual care at Amare Aesthetics is designed to address a wide range of skin and scalp concerns. If you're a patient physically located in California, I can provide full clinical care—including diagnosis, lab orders, and prescription medications sent directly to your preferred pharmacy.
Conditions we treat include but are not limited to:
- Acne — hormonal, cystic, and everything in between
- Melasma and hyperpigmentation
- Rosacea
- Eczema and atopic dermatitis
- Psoriasis
- Hair loss and alopecia
- Scalp disorders
- Uneven skin tone and post-inflammatory discoloration
- and more
A quick note on location: Clinical services—meaning anything that involves a diagnosis, prescriptions, or ordering labs—are available exclusively to patients who are physically located in California at the time of their visit. This is a legal requirement, not a limitation of our care. If you're located outside of California, we warmly welcome you for non-medical skincare coaching, personalized product curation, and routine building. Think of it as having a knowledgeable guide in your corner who helps you make sense of the overwhelming world of skincare.
How Virtual Care at Amare Aesthetics Works
Step 1: Request your visit online
Head over to our appointment requests, to choose your service tier and reserve your spot. You'll see three options:
- Virtual Full Strategy — $200: A comprehensive virtual consultation covering your full skin history, current concerns, and long-term goals. Ideal for new patients or anyone starting fresh with their skin health.
- Virtual Check-In — $100: A focused follow-up for existing patients who need to reassess their treatment plan, address a new concern, or check progress.
- Quick Routine Audit — $25: A streamlined review of your current skincare routine with personalized recommendations. Perfect if you want a professional set of eyes on your products without a full consultation.
Step 2: Complete your digital intake
Before your visit, you'll receive a digital intake form covering your health history, current medications, known allergies, and skincare routine. You'll also be asked to submit photos of your skin in good lighting. These photos are essential—they allow me to assess your skin carefully before we connect, so our time together is focused on you, not on gathering background information.
Please upload your intake form and photos before your scheduled visit. This ensures your treatment plan is ready quickly and accurately.
Step 3: Receive your treatment plan within 24 hours
Following your consultation, you'll receive a personalized treatment plan within 24 hours. This will outline recommended products, lifestyle adjustments, and—for California patients where appropriate—prescriptions sent electronically to your pharmacy of choice. There's no printing, no picking up paper scripts, and no unnecessary steps.
How to Prepare for Your First Virtual Visit
A little preparation goes a long way. Here's a simple checklist to help you get the most out of your appointment.
Before your visit:
- Secure your appointment with our team and pay for your visit!
- Complete your digital health intake form in full
- Upload clear, well-lit photos of your skin — natural daylight works best
- Write down your top two or three concerns and any questions you want answered
- List all current skincare products and any medications you take
- Note any past treatments or products that have caused reactions
On the day of your visit:
- Find a quiet, well-lit space where you feel comfortable talking openly
- Make sure your device (phone, tablet, or laptop) is charged and your internet connection is stable
- Have your skincare products nearby in case we want to review them together
- Come with your face clean or as close to your natural skin state as possible
The more context you bring, the more tailored your care will be. There are no wrong answers and no such thing as too much detail when it comes to your skin.
Privacy, Security, and Payment at Amare Aesthetics
Is my health information protected?
Yes. Our virtual platform is fully HIPAA-compliant, meaning your health information is encrypted, protected, and never shared without your explicit consent. Patient privacy is non-negotiable.
Does Amare Aesthetics accept HSA or FSA funds?
Yes—HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) funds are accepted, which can make your care more affordable if you have these benefits available through your employer or health plan.
Does Amare Aesthetics accept insurance?
We are actively working to expand our insurance options and will share updates as they become available. At this time, consultations are self-pay. Please note that all consultation fees are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, we ask that you do so with adequate notice so we can offer your slot to another patient.
Why This Moment Matters
There's something I want to say directly: this expansion isn't just a business decision. It's a reflection of what I believe skin care should look like.
Too many people sit with skin concerns for months—sometimes years—because getting in to see a specialist is expensive, time-consuming, or geographically out of reach. Virtual care changes that equation. I'm investing in my own education while opening new doors for my patients. The two are deeply connected.
My goal with Amare Aesthetics has always been high-touch, evidence-based care that treats the whole person—not just the symptom. Virtual care makes it possible to extend that standard to more people, with the same level of rigor and warmth you'd experience in person.
