Nurse Practitioner & Licensed Esthetician

Amaju Amoruwa is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Licensed Esthetician, and the lead practitioner at Amare Aesthetics, a practice built on the belief that true skin health goes far deeper than the surface.

Her path into dermatology wasn't a straight line. Before specializing, Amaju worked in skincare product development, an experience that gave her a behind-the-scenes understanding of formulation, ingredients, and the gap between what products promise and what skin actually needs. That foundation shaped everything about how she practices today.

Amaju completed her doctorate with a dissertation focused on metabolic dysfunction and skin health education for acne patients, and she is currently completing a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Fellowship. She has trained clinically in dermatology and continues to invest in advanced global education, studying under world-renowned dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and industry leaders.

What sets her apart is her integrative approach. Always asking the why, from hormones, gut health, stress, medications. The skin doesn't exist in isolation, and neither does skin health.

Guided by the mantra Restorative Health, Amaju sees patients in office and virtually, and is known for translating complex clinical reasoning into language that actually makes sense. Her goal isn't just clearer skin, it's a patient who understands their skin and feels empowered to care for it long-term.
