REt (RP)™ Retinoid — Retinyl Propionate

Vivant's proprietary vitamin A technology features retinyl propionate, a retinoid ester used to improve the appearance of uneven texture, roughness, and visible signs of skin aging.

Retinoids influence epidermal renewal and can support a smoother-looking skin surface over time.

Retinyl propionate is not the same ingredient as prescription tretinoin, and the two should not be considered clinically interchangeable.

Lactic Acid

An alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that helps exfoliate accumulated surface skin cells, improve rough texture, and promote a smoother, brighter appearance.

Lactic acid also has humectant properties that support moisture retention.

Grape Seed Oil (Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil)

A skin-conditioning emollient containing fatty acids that help soften rough areas and maintain a supple skin feel.

Mineral Oil

How to Use

PM | Advanced Body Treatment

Apply a thin, even layer to clean, dry skin on the affected body areas, such as the back, chest, shoulders, elbows, knees, or heels.

Avoid the eyes, eyelids, lips, mucous membranes, and irritated or broken skin.

Manufacturer's Initial Acclimation Instructions:

• First Two Weeks: Apply to the selected treatment area, leave on for approximately three hours, and rinse off with water.

• As Tolerance Develops: Gradually increase contact time and frequency as directed.

• Established Tolerance: Overnight application may be appropriate for resilient skin that has acclimated to the formula.

• If Irritation Develops: Reduce frequency to every third day or temporarily discontinue until the skin has recovered.

Important: The manufacturer recommends avoiding facial and neck application unless the skin has already acclimated to advanced retinoids, including Exfol-A Forté, and the treatment is professionally guided.

Do not apply immediately after shaving, waxing, aggressive exfoliation, or resurfacing procedures.

Daytime Care: Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher to exposed treated areas. For persistent pigmentation concerns, consider additional protective clothing and sun avoidance.

Amare Clinical Tip: Clear Body Therapy is best suited to patients whose body skin is resistant enough to tolerate an intensive retinoid and exfoliating acid combination.

For patients with skin of color, persistent body acne and keratosis pilaris can coexist with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The goal is to improve texture and prevent new inflammation without triggering additional discoloration.

A slower introduction is particularly important when treating the chest, shoulders, inner arms, or other areas that may be more sensitive than the back.

Patients with widespread, painful, scarring, or persistent acne should receive a clinical evaluation rather than relying on exfoliating products alone.
